I have hosted a simple machines forum with there unlimited hosting package. I have had nothing but problems with fatcow. I can get the website installed, setup, and use it then randomly I got
"Connection Problems Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later."
I have reinstalled simple machines 5 times. I contacted there support and they told me to use there single click installer. I did that and it still failed. My ticket was put to level 2 support they fixed it. The problem has come back over and over again.
I can setup mysql, apache and php. I don't see any reason as to why this is happening. I have asked if I could use another sql server. I've gotten no over and over again. There support techs have been very nice but haven't been able to fix a thing. I like there site, I like the price, I like everyone I have talked to.
It could be as simple as an over loaded sql server. This is not hard. every other hosting company I have been with has never had this problem. I will be switching my hosting in a day or so if this problem is not resolved.
