) announced on Monday it will soon launch an expanded Open Source Library, which will offer applications to all web hosting customers.

The expanded Open Source Library will also eventually be offered as functional AppGadgets for users of Network Solutions' website creator, ImageCafe.

The service is the latest in that Network Solutions' ongoing offerings that are targeted at web hosting businesses. Earlier this month, Network Solutions launched a new business email service designed specifically for small businesses.

The Open Source Library provides web hosting customers with a range of open source applications that they can offer as value-added services.

The newly added services include blogging software WordPress, content management service Joomla!, and photo organizer Gallery2.

Since these applications are open source and are widely used, Network Solutions is constantly developing and adding new features that web based business will find useful.
