😠 Worst Tech Support in the Industry
Tech support sucked! These guys have caused so many issues. response is slowwwww. Plus their servers have been getting slower and slower over the years. They forced me to move with their crappy tech support and slow servers. Nothing but problems every time I have issues. Getting them to respond don't hold your breath. Do they care? NO. Do they respond timely? NO. Does their tech support number work? Well yes it only tells you to file a ticket on line... Frustrating as heck.
Paying for their unlimited service is like getting unlimited with the AT&T. you can't really use it if you know how! This place is a crock. I recommend another services

Oh they are attacked quite often and service is or by us has been interrupted often. They also contact you if there is an issue they just shut you down! If you run a business don't use them! Bite me VODA You suck! Moved to my own server on host gator. Thanks for for getting to the point where I had to leave! No 99.9999% up time

😠 Avoid Vodahost
Due to their secutiry issues got a spam attack on ( malware code on all of subdomains).
I complaint about this
they came back and said changed the password ( this password was generated by them, so the stregnth is good)
then disabled my access on my server
put a ticket again, simply closed the ticket with 1 sentence.

Customer support is not helpful and total waste of time and money.

😠 Vodahost - stay away...terrible service
Good price, good uptime but the worst support ever. Over the past three years we have had about 5 issues that we needed customer support and the information goes into a black hole and you wait hoping someone will get in touch with you. It takes days to resolve issues that our other hoster fixes in minutes. Stay away from Vodahost until they offer real support.

😠 Vodahost are appauling!
Absolutely appauling people. Vasili is an abusive, insulting, unhelpful, deceiptful, egotistial liar. The admin team are shocking and patronising as well as allowing their mods to edit, delete and falsely represent what you have actually written in the forums. If you do anything other than sing their praises they ban you instead of addressing the issues.

Their support ticket people were much more helpful, but because of what they allowed Vasili to do in the forums I have complained about them to the BBB

Shockingly abismal behaviour from a company who claim to be Christians!

😠 Voda Host Customers Beware!!!!
I noticed Aug. 30 that someone was sending Spam through my website email.

TICKET 1 OPENED: I contacted customer support who told me to change my passwords. I did and then couldn't access any of my own email but the spam kept sending. I contacted customer support again.

They asked for my email address and password to check it. I replied they reset my cpanel and email passwords and then I couldn't access either one and closed the ticket on Sept. 1.

On Sept. 1 I opened a new ticket still couldn't access cpanel or email and spammer was still sending spam. Customer support told me to change passwords which I couldn't even get to to change. Told me scan my website with some link which I don't know how to do. I left a message no reply ticket closed.

TICKET 2 OPENED: Sept. 1 Unable to access my site because of a "brute force attack". Asked customer service to CALL ME!

Sept. 2 New ticket opened will call this TICKET 4.

Sept. 5 Asked customer service to CALL ME!

😁 This hosting company is brilliant. They are just so helpful in every way. I had decided to sign up with this company after the terrible experience I had with my previous company. The company I had before was just incompetent; I ended up having to take five websites off line while I searched for a new company. I had made the mistake of signing up with the first company because their price was so cheap, you couldn’t say “no.” I should have realized that the saying is true. “Nothing in life is free” A cheap account meant cheap results and bad customer service. A year after opening the account with the first company, they had increased their fees by 300%. I saw no signs that their services or my websites get better along with the changes.

That is when I switched to these guys and instantly I benefited after coming across all their video tutorials which taught me a lot of stuff that I did not know. Their cPanel was also better laid out and easy to understand. I was immediately filled [read more...]

😠 SCAM - WORST HOSTING EVER - DON'T USE
Fist they say you can use any domain numbers but you won't be able to separate the first domain from the rest (user accessing the first domain will have access to all other domains you host with them). The speed is not as advertised, my site would start loading after few seconds. After 3 weeks of hosting they change server and IP and DNS server IP. Creating a mess. They changed DNS records as they think it should without ask me. My registrar had the old IP of their DNS. I called them but they do advertising on the phone on my money. The support ticket page wouldn't load (at least for my account). I wrote emails but all emails keeps coming back with an error from their php automated system. They send me some emails asking me to change my A record. How to do it when I couldn't even log to my account. I'm still waiting for paypal refund.

I am very happy with my website.
I have had a couple of teething problems mostly me being a little dumb, and I'm not even blonde. They solved them for me quickly and without making me feel even more stupid. I find their system easy to use and I am happy to find when I create a page it looks the same when I publish which it did not do with my other host, and that was one of the main reasons for me changing host.

Havent seem my site suspended for any of the reasons mentioned at the top spam etc (have plenty of pics on my site too and I know I'm getting hits and it's all smoothly running thanks) - havn't seen my site go down ever noticably.

Plenty of add-ons extra here to enjoy and learn from - great marketing ebook and many things to help with business - SSL -Soho CMS. Excited now too about the upgrade to Litespeed server that we hear about. So Im happy with great service support, great features. Great hosting!

😠 They suspend without telling us first.
No telephone support the phone number you call is a message telling to send it by email. They don't listen to problem or understand. BE WARNED VERY HOPELESS

When their service is running it OK, anyone can say your site a spam or malware site and they just suspend.

Their sites can only handle limited traffic, any more than 30 hits a second your site will go down, until traffic clears. Great for website with hardly any hit. (If your webpage has more than 10 pics which mean 10 hits in that second, the site will pause until for the next user if more the five users hit it at the same time)

Good host for uneducated web user until something goes wrong...

😁 Absolutely lovin' the tutorials and guidelines; as much as web hosting must be easy, because there are so many websites, I found it quite difficult to get my head round. I came here after finding the bluevoda software and the ease of use if BV is continued: Straight forward sign-up, easy bill paying and account house-keeping. There's little more to say other than after some of the confusion that I can see clearly now my website is up and running on the web. 😁 Let’s not mince words here ... web hosting is an industry where there is too much choice. Nearly every website advertises some kinda web hosting company or service let alone the pages and pages of contacts that Google gives you. There are so many that it becomes difficult to choose who to take up an account with for the website that you’ve poured your heart and soul into for so long.

I arrived here by chance on the back of a web hosting article and was impressed by logical way the services where laid out and backed up by appropriate information and tutorials. The servers supported php and mysql (you’d be surprised how many still don’t) and for me this was just essential.... In nearly every way they've been better than the hosts I've used before you actually get UNLIMITED stuff for real, for example instead of people e-mailing you complaining about the size of your database or website files and server usage or something.
I really do like the cPanel ... such a nice GUI to control your website from and it DOES come with Fantastico which will help out people new to blogging and content and such and the add-on domain feature is great value, what with being able to host multiple domains you only need one account with them and you can host as many websites as you like.
I got an SSL add for my site with little hassle too and it was set-up promptly and there's more stuff (software tools and knowledgebase materials) here than I think you could actually use...

😠 VodaHost was not a particularly easy hosting service to navigate through setup. They do provide several videos and online information but in the end the user interface is not very intuitive. If you manage to get through setup and never need to speak with customer service, then their service may prove sufficient for you (as it did for me for 2 years).

There was one exception, when we did need a response to a billing issue and absolutely received a form reply that did not address the question what-so-ever. So we had to reply again and request that a person actually READ the email and reply with an appropriate response. This is unacceptable customer service.

However, today my website is down and will not load. I am unable to speak to anyone in customer service and have been trading emails with someone who is completely not helpful.

😁 I'm so impressed by this provider, from the forum to the knowledge base to the BV website builder software and even web hosting product itself. I don't think I'd have been able to get my website going so quickly without them; in fact everything you need is here to go from web hosting zero to web hosting hero.

I got it up and running about a couple of years ago and since then I haven't regretted signing up. My website's live on the web and other than once I don't recall it being offline for any period of time.
The cost of their web hosting is a bargain too and is comparatively cheap at just under $8 a month if you break it down.

Have used the customer support ticket system a few times ( once because of some confusion on my part over how my domain name worked; ha it's actaully kinda funny to think about in hindsight ) and a couple about the add-ons in cPanel but in each there was an answer in a video tutorial and it was straight forward.

I chose them a while because of a coupon promotion but don't let that fool you ... web hosting with these guys has been very satisfying; I got just what I wanted from them and it works. It's friendly and professional and provides with the really good tech support for web hosting (seriously the best i've gotten from a shared host! - had one support guy explain how to edit a .htaccess file and the instructions actually read like English!!!). 😠 I chose Blue Vode because I am a novice, I know nothing about building a webpage. And building it with the software for the most part was painless.

But the pain came in the uploading and actually making the site work once on the internet. Numerous videos and tutorials but if some reason I could not comprehend the problem, I was left trying to submit a ticket. OMG, now there is a process. I have been battling the same problem now... one I am sure that has a simple fix, for almost a week.

I have do not have this kind of time. There is no one to talk to, no one to ask questions of except the forum Nazis and oh by the way, I am banned because I complained about the Customer Service.

They suspended my site without any notification, said i was using too much CPU usage, which is understandable to suspend the site. I however have no idea how this would occur and their support is doing no effort to attempt to fix it.

Have gone through over a dozen support tickets getting either no response or telling me I am duplicating a ticket even though they have closed the previous tickets without fixing the problem.

I am now in a situation where I am paying for hosting and have all of my website and emails stored on their server but I am not even able to access it.

I am losing business because of it and they don't seem to even care so for me I am leaving them as soon as I am able to get the information off my site and will be pulling off the several dozen clients I have put on there also.

I've built and hosted a couple of websites so I knew what I was doing but I wanted a web hosting company that had good customer service and who promised high uptime on their web hosting. I was like D-OH!! when immediately I came across problems using my FTP client but I sent off a support ticket to the customer support and waited and within about 24 hours they had got back to me with the answer I was looking for. 😁 With the services here I've managed to designed my very own first website with help of the website builder – Bluevoda - I found that this was what my brother had used to design his site and I followed their directions and published it and it only took me a couple of hours to get all of this done fine. 😠 I signed up with Vodahost as it seemed very professional. The presentation was good, it had all the tools that a starter/web designer may need and the extra tools like Soholaunch used seemed very good.

Until my root account had to be reconfigured so I had to install Soholaunch again and restored the backup I did a couple of months earlier.

Not only the restore within soholaunch didn't work but the vodahost customer suport has not found out yet the reason. A month after serveral email back and forth I've been waiting for 3 days since the last emal I've sent them, and I haven't been able to work on my website for almost a month.

I checked the soholaunch forum and someone else mentioned on the forum that the restore/backup didn't work on the free version on soholaunch.

At this point on time Im glad that this has happened before the website was fully live. But it leaves me wondering if I did the right thing signing up with them.

The bluevoda is great and say what you will but I've found it well supported and there are tutorials for everything every feature. 😁 i reckon they’ve brought a lot of added value to my business ever since I shifted over and they offer a range of webhosting features which are pretty cost effective and technologies which are pretty easy to adopt too. the webhosting service itself offers as many domain names as you want to host, large storage and it’s fast too. It’s all pretty easy to use. their webhosting package comes loaded with some cool tools to assist in website designing as well not least the cpanel which makes sense. i have not seen any other webhosting company offering so many useful and business-essential features like this one does especially with things like the soholaunch website builder which has all your shopping carts or other programs you might be more familiar with.

overall I’d say it is quite affordable, great for a small-business person like me and does not have anything i would consider to be a hidden cost. the support team is really good though I haven’t used them that much, can resolve issues

😠 If your looking for a good host, keep looking. I hosted my site hosted with Vodahost and what a headache that was. Never again! If you require fast support don't hold your breath! Your not going to get it. My average support ticket set to high priority took 3 days just to get the initial response. After that it would take another 5-7 days to sort the problem out because they would only respond to me once a day!

As for all the positive comments here don't believe them. They're most likely employees as well as a customer of Vodahost hosting their own sites with the company they work for.

And one more thing I want to say is, Vodahost as well a many other nickle budget hosting companies all share a common deception. They con you in with the term "Unlimited". Nothing is unlimited! There is a limit to everything.

Haven’t used too many of the website features (there are loads on their website); haven’t found that I’ve needed them for my site just yet … Got on the band wagon cos a good friend of mine was using their hosting of so I figured I was going to use them on his recommendation; he seemed happy with what he was paying for. Think it’s perfectly fair at $7.95 per month – it can be cheaper with double year billing but this is what I pay - the features are there and it just works. BlueVoda’s really good (it’s a simple website builder but kinda another story; check it out though). Really like the add-on domain feature which lets you host more than one website from your one account and I’ve got another site that’s slowly comin to life. I’ve put in a coupla support tickets about it and it seems pretty easy the customer guys sent me to video tutorials to walk me through. I have my website up, have my e-mails sorted. With over 100 websites and web applications under my belt, it is a fact that I have tried a lot of web hosting companies for varied needs of my customers. 😠 I bought into the hype about how great the service is. I purchased a yearly hosting plan. All of the sales presentation sounded really great.. They said they go all out to help and all that kind of stuff.

When I ran into a problem accessing the database for my site, I was simply told, "you must be doing something wrong" and simply closed the support ticket. They told me they do not support the script that they offer for forms, while in the documentation for the same script, they say that all I have to do is contact support and they will be glad to help. I have been installing scripts for 7 years. I know when there is a problem with accessing a database. And I don't expect to be treated like I'm a novice when I ask a question. If I hadn't installed the same script on one of my other sites, on a different server, I might have bought into the statement that I was doing something wrong, but that wasn't the case here. This is mainly due to constant uptime and an excellent position in the search engines. They help us with search optimization and track my site’s visitors. I have since tailored my site to the most popular customer base and have been able to pump up my sales exponentially. Their invoices come monthly and I have never been charged for something that I was not sure about. 😞 First off, let me say that the web service offered is very good for an entry-level user.

Vodahost offers many more services than a novice user will likely ever even want, and there's a lot of good feedback out there. You can't trust VodaHost's forums though, they are moderated, meaning that they will not allow anything but positive feedback to be published there.

I can't reccommend this service, unless you find the following acceptable:

1) Have your service cut off 4 days before the billing cycle ends
2) Receive threats to delete your content after they have denied you FTP access to recover it, once again before the service period has ended.
3) Service not being started up again until 7 days later, after payment is received and the staff are prompted, and not so much as an apology afterwards.
4) implied 2% yearly downtime due to staff denial of service.

😁 In my opinion I would say they work best for me. I transferred to them from another poor quality hosting provider. I was experiencing plenty of downtime with the previous hosting company. Now their uptime meet my needs and the support is there when you need it. They are prompt to answer your queries. I have been hosting my sites with them for a year now. I. There is no limit on their database usage and you can create as many databases as you need from your package. Both bandwidth quality of service and MySQL database queries seem to be fast enough. I tried with DreamHost before and they were charging me around $8.95 a month when I took out a 2-year plan. With them I get a good deal of $7.95 a month that too with annual plan. There is also no contract involved. I get unlimited disk space, unlimited MySQL databases, unlimited domains with one free included domain registration. I also get unlimited sub-domains and unlimited FTP accounts, and access to web-based FTP. This is a very good deal at least to me because other providers charge you extra for domain registration and have a cap on how many domains you can have on the same shared hosting package. Their tech Support people are very good and my few problems have been sorted out very quickly and to my satisfaction. My sites are up 99% of the time just as they promise in their Features page. 😁 Gotta like their support! They are prompt in answering my lazy questions. Got 5 sites hosted with them and never had more than 10 minutes of downtime in the one year I have been with them. Also there is unlimited MySQL and unlimited disk space. One catch is that there is no VPS hosting plan to upgrade to. But you may probably not need an expensive VPS and shared hosting should do just fine. Setting up Drupal on my site was a cake-walk and I never had any issues with that. Also the CPanel has fantastico built-in and with one click you can set up WordPress blogs too. PHP and Perl are both fully supported. I compared LunarPages $21.95 a month small business hosting plan with this company’s $7.95 a month plan that includes all the features at Lunarpages, at one-third the price. That’s clearly a No-brainer choice. I also compared them with DreamHost. With DreamHost annual plan you pay $9.95 a month. With the VH annual plan you pay only $7.95 a month for the same feature set. I wanted to tell my experience to other people who are looking to get a decent web host for hosting their websites. I am an eBay power seller that also has a blog on BlogSpot. I wanted to create another un-connected site that promotes and reviews my products (I sell T-shirts, cups, mugs, key chains, and jewelry) AND my friends' products too.

I hired a web designer. He was able to give me a well-designed 10-page site and a design for my blog. Now all I wanted was a good web host to host my site with. I read some reviews about them and decided to try them out.

I found that they have a great annual deal for hosting which works out to under ten bucks a month. I also registered my domain name with them (Free domain registration is included in the annual package).

I know many hosting providers soon disappear from the market, and I cannot count on their support. But they have been a reliable company.

😁 My two sites have been on one of their servers for over a year now. Personally I couldn't ask for much more out of a host. The server has been stable, with one short couple short downtimes caused by malfunctioning scripts (nothing that they could prevent).

All such situations were dealt with properly, in a timely manner. I only needed to contact support on that special occasion to ask what was happening. Otherwise, the server was working fine so I had no reason to contact them for server related problems.

I remember that I did send an email to support once and I got an email back in straight away. I remember that I was quite impressed by the timely answer. Excellent service (and lots of space) for a bargain price.

In all, I'm very happy with the service. If things continue like this I see no reason why I would ever need to go with another host. I can comfortably recommend them.

They take the best they can find to offer their customers and does the best job by far in making sure the customers have what they need. I, personally, feel that there is no obstacle that I cannot overcome with the help of the forum and customer service.

I got treated like **** everywhere else because I had no clue as to what I was doing. Total newbie. I wasted money and time with other web hosting companies that were recomended by others.

Finding them was like finding gold! There's no problem that hasn't been answered within 1 to 2 days, there's no problem that hasn't been totally resolved as soon as I submit a ticket, and no problem solved where I didn't learn something new that I had to know!

😁 I am finding very it hard to believe, that there are some unpleasant reviews about voda host. What they offer is true. They have a wonderful, easy web building program, they have lots of extra bells & whistles to help make your website nice and professional. They do offer help, to build a site it is just cut and paste. I tried front-page, now that was confusing. With voda host, I had my first page up in a day, and that was because I was deciding on colors, writing, clipart etc. Some things were a little more involved where I had to do some reading to get things working properly, and when I needed help I received it. Those people that say the opposite probably have nothing good to say about anything or anybody or they are possibly a competitor trying to do sabotage.. I would not listen to the slander or foul language, they have nothing better to do with their time. I highly recommend them for web hosting. They have the best program fir the money, and it is very easy.

😞 I have experienced very poor customer service from VodaHost. It is impossible to ever speak with a human, except in the rare instance that somebody at the help desk calls you when you submit a trouble ticket. The only time anyone ever called me was when I was first trying to set up my website.

They parked my domain name, which killed my website and my email, three days before my annual renewal payment was due and it took me the better part of a day to get it sorted out. The help desk was absolutely useless. When they finally put my domain back on line and told me it was up, I couldn't view the website or send/receive email. The help desk was unresponsive to my problem.

I ended up fixing the problem myself, when I discovered by a stroke of inspiration that I could access my website and and webmail if I used the IP address instead of the domain name...bingo...I had a DNS caching problem. Support ticket was closed because the site was up at the time they looked at it, sent another ticket when I lost sales, closed that ticket since the issue was “duplicate”, phone support told me to submit more support tickets which were getting closed and THEN, when I went to the SUPPORT forums to ask where to find info to talk to a REAL person since no one was helping me, my post was deleted, as were the other posts asking about problems with my particular server (which it asks of you). I was banned from the forums for “complaining” and told to open yet another ticket which is STILL unanswered! While I just went to my site again and it was down for over another hour. They have an unsatisfactory record with the BBB with some complaints they completely ignored!

For $7.95 a month, this is a rip off.

Brad Costello - the CEO of Vodahost called me today and fully explained what had happened. Errors of this sort are bound to happen from time to time with an organisation the size of Vodahost. They were quick to reverse the error and refund the $19.95 that was taken. However, because I am in the UK the initial amount refunded did not match what was taken. This was due to fluctuations in the exchange rate and nothing to do with Vodahost.

I repeat what I said in my earlier post, I have been with them for over 2 years now and although I was a complete novice at the start - I have always found the answers I have needed. After nearly a year of inactivity - I am almost ready to launch my website. If I were you, if they already have your card details - then request that they remove those details from their servers immediately. They CANNOT be trusted with them.

I suddenly noticed that I had been invoiced for $19.95. I raised a ticket and asked what for? this was the reply:

Trouble is - this had nothing to do with me - so I questioned it again. telling them I took a very dim view of companies who took unauthorised payments from my credit card.

😁 Two of my biggest pet-peaves with host companies is anything that is not user-friendly and also bait and switch tricks that are so prevalent, even with established companies. Therefore, I like them for these reasons, so far. Most importantly, its control panel is very easy to negotiate. I find that everything is logically laid out and user friendly. That's important and I appreciate that every time I use their c-panel. As for Point Two, I once used a host who's uploading software did not work with my Frontpage software, even though their site advertised that they supported Frontpage. (Which was why I chose them.) Their solution. Download this here program which you can then use to upload your site with. I did and the program worked great and was easy to use. The only problem was that it belonged to a third party who was only going to let me use it for 30 days and then I had to buy it. Bait and switch. I am still working on improving the functionality and appearance of my site at printsetters.com, but Vodahost has been a godsend. The Soholaunch programme has enabled me to save several thousand pounds on having a similar site professionally produced, and i have done it without writing a single line of HTML.

The support ticket system is fantastic with every little problem I have had solved quickly.

The hosting deal is about half the price of hosting in the UK.

The software is cantly updated and improved and is probably the best on the market - yet it is free!!

😁 I am so excited to finally have a website Before Voda Host, I could hardly turn a computer on, let alone purchase something of the internet, so I was a bit apprehensive at first. I never though I of all people would be able to own a website.

It was just so easy though. I registered the account in just a few minutes and started building my site that evening!! Voda Host were great. They sent me everything I needed to start building my site. They have excellent step by step instructions on anything I needed to know. Their online video tutorials actually show you, click by click how to create anything for your site.

I now have my very own website, on the internet. I even have a personalized email account for my site and my staff. The best part was it was as fun as it was easy. The forum people are great fun and the technical support centre staffs were keen to help me get online as quickly and smoothly as possible.
I will no doubt be adding more sites to my account.

😠 I got vodahost back when their servers were fresh, support was a little less feisty, and the TOS did not require you to pay a yearly subscription even if you did not ask them to.

Since then alot has changed, Customer Service has gone down the drain, linking me to sites with profanities such as "a-hole" and "bitch" and "f...ing," which are all aimed at the reader. These sites also contain very concerning phrases such as "break your legs" and "piece of shit." I am sorry to have to share such words with you.

Their support also takes several days to reply to questions in their independently run (meaning that no externalizes are involved) support database. It is very well to run your own database for support, providing you do not abuse it. Please reply to customers questions! And if you do so, do so APPROPRIATELY.

Their "TOS" or Terms of Service are very vague, offer the breaking of the contract with 7-days notice (or that was how short it was when I last looked,) and the [read more...]

Although there 'easy to use' web building tools have been highly criticised - it has to be said their BlueVoda website builder is good when you get to now how to use it. But on this note, it is not so 'easy to use'. Although no PC language or coding is required to build a website with this feature, it does rely heavily on the users ability to use desktop publishing software, which VodaHost seem to presume that everyone knows how to operate.

There prices are quite resonable and their other features and PHP packages are terrific and after practice most of their features do become easier to use. However this does not rid them of the fact that they used false advertising, for beginners their software is NOT easy to use.

Their technical team seems to consist of only of a few people. They are often inexperienced and provide little technical assistance when you have a problem - almost as if they copy and paste their replies to your problems from a book. Quite [read more...]

I found the support very useful. I still have some problems when trying to publish my pages, but I think that the problem is my connection to internet (during the day it becomes too busy thus slowing down and stoppi ng the connection).

Owned a couple of .com.au domain names for a while and found web hosting was just so expensive here in Australia… very little offered in return for big money… then I found them along with their website builder and my world turned upside down in joy… here was the solution for me… even my boss who is webmaster of quite a few sites cannot believe what I have created and their deals on offer…

Not only did I find all this I found their Forum… what a fantastic community of people they all are… without you things would have been a lot harder… not that it was hard at all…

😠 Voda promised "fanatical" support and customer "love" and care, affiliate "commissions", "reliable" hosting and at lest some "workable" web site managment interfaces and even a site builder.

In two years of my experience they did nothing of this kind.

What did they do in this writer's experience ?

1. NO SUPPORT. Their support is some sort of Nazi bunch of kapos who shout at you that you don't understand this and that, or pretending your English is no good for their staff. They didn't solve any issue for us in the period as reviewed.

2. NO COMMISSION. Their clocks register just-below-the-threshold affiliate traffic, and when they have to pay the 150 usd, the counter dies suddenly, and no matter how many of your affiliates pass through you, you are sure that you won't see the commission. When you demonstrate this fact to their personnel, they panic, they would call you on your mobile phone and start telling lies that even them find hard to believe. It's all on record.

😁 I am on my 2nd year with Blue Voda/Voda Host. I really love the website builder, forum help, unlimited domain feature. HOWEVER.... with that said...
I am very disappointed with their Affiliate Program...thus far.
The Reason.....
I signed up an affiliate through my website affiliate link with no problem. I even used my credit card...no problem. Got a confirmation about the new signup...no problem.
The problem is I didn't get credit for the new affiliate signup. I have furnished all the information to the Affiliate support department over a week ago. Today I sent a 2nd request for a response.
I need to either remove all affiliate links to Voda Host or get this resolved. If it isn't resolved then there's a trust issue on if affiliates are getting paid on the up and up.

The results depend on if I move on to another web host. Problem is I used their Blue Voda website builder. I understand it's a version of NetObject's True Fusion website builder. Can anyone confirm?

😠 I wish I read this board before I signed up with them. By far the most unethical company I have ever seen. The posts about not responding the emails, or tickets until 3 days later, not answering to calls, gestapo tactics in their board, no response whatsoever are exactly right.

Took them THREE days to send me my login information and when they did they condecendingly stated that it was sent right away to the email I provided (Really?)

Put a request to transfer my which during pre-sales they stated "Yes, we can accomodate your requirements without any issues".

😠 Simply Put -- Read all the Negative Posts -- All that was said there has happened to me.

I Asked question about their services and they removed my post. They the "Generals" don't even know what products they offer. After questioning why they only used PHP4.4 and not 5.xx I got a response that 4.4 was the most stable -- well OK - but after you sign up you find out it's version 5.16. I paid a $30.oo Set up Fee. but after joining and getting my Welcome letter I find out I have to Configure my DNS. I don't know about you but when I have to Configure some thing it usually means setting something up!!! The last thing is that I paid for a dedicated IP address and it came up as shared. After 5 days, they finally without notice take down my site and make the changes.

My second post was a general question about using a easy and nice download program. The "General" responded with a Sarcastic response.

😁 Ok, this is the best it gets I have to say! I'm an administrative assistant, and although I know quite a bit about computers and programs - I don't do this kind of thing all the time. I was asked to create a website for my boss and his business. I took on the task only because I knew that I could DO it with this website and program here!! I was a little "scared" at first, but in building my website - I learned that ONLY BlueVoda could make it this easy!!

I've looked at other programs, and other templates and tutorials, and NONE OF THEM COMPARE to this one. There's NO WAY I could have done this alone, and there's NO WAY I could have done this without BlueVoda here. This is the best program/website/software that I've seen OR used out there, and it's SO GREAT FOR THE PRICE!! UNBELIEVABLE.

After using their software and forums I am under the impression that they are nothing but a self-promoting dictatorship. 😠 I found the sales speel did not match reality - "easy to use" and "no programming knowledge needed" is simply not true. When I pointed this out to them, they took pains to point out to me that their Terms of Service contradicted their sales speel.

The support documentation is contradictory. Once can only try the software once signed up - which is when one finds the flaws. Many support docs are incorrect, and I spent days trying to configure the basics. Easy to use it is not. Customer support was slow. You only find this out once you've paid.

In my opinion, avoid.

Let's do some comparing. On Yahoo! I was paying $19.95 for cgi scripting, what a rip. Half of the scripts I tried to run wouldn't work because only a few Perl modules were available. Geezz... Yahoo! gives you Sitebuilder with their package. Another rip. Try working on more than 2 or 3 pages at a time with this utility, and your computer will give you a big thud as it crashes and freezes. There are so many bugs with this program that it's just sickening. I ended up having to buy a 3rd party website builder. Let's see what else.... Oh yes, TECH SUPPORT! or lack there of! Put in a ticket, and you're guranteed to wait more than 48 hrs for a reply. They do have a customer support number, however I've never had the patience to talk to anyone. I waited on hold for 2 hours one time before finally giving up.

This particular person who signed up with the name Miriam Grech from the
Stradivari Season, used the domain name jamesgrech.com, they signed up with
a P.O. box address and gave a fake telephone number, if you do a whois search
on the above mentioned domain name you will see what I mean.

We have traced the FTP logs to the same IP address that the purchase was
made from. The below review is their attempt to go on the offensive and
through up a barage of smoke.

We still have have kept copies of the fake "CHASE" bank HTML pages and have
notified CHASE about Miriam Grech.

😠 Stay away - that is my advice. It is just a scam. I was tempted to join because I wanted to use a simple website builder, (for I had no idea how to design a website) and they offered one - but you can only use it if you have an account with them, so I got one. It seems that this vodahost is run by one guy who calls himself many different names so that he appears like a big company. After a while he started suspending my site for no apparent reason, and came up with all sorts of crap explanations. He said I was spamming and sent me emails that were supposedly attached to my site, then he sent me a file that he said was attached to my site - a file to chase credit card details of others. He accused me and threatened me. I asked him for a phone number to be able to talk to someone to sort this out becuase I hadn't done it, but instead asked me to fax a copy of my passport, and started abusing me. 😁 Ive been using VH now for quite some time. I use the monthly program due to fiancial convenience.
I read all the posts here and thought - hmm - I could say all of that and more about Yahoo!.
As for service and care - I have been treated with the utmost respect and helped with design and scripts in the most timely maner.
I can see that reviews here are from those who were overlooked as was I at Yahoo! When I hosted with them I was treated like I didnt exist, and recieved virtually no help and or assistance...I may as well been deleted.
Vodahost is a wonderful small company that is just in its infant stage, and I belive they will grow much larger and offer many more benefits.
Its a good comfortable family type atmosphere where we all support one another and work to make out sites better and more productive!
Since Ive switched to VH my hits have more than doubled from other than VH views..lol..
Its a wonderful hosting company that here has been slashed by a disgruntled customer -

😠 DON'T go with vodahost.com

They just rip of your money and don't give what promise and if you try to complain they ban you from the forum, DON'T answer your tickets or e mails and put your site as suspended WITH A LINK POITING TO THEIR SITE!!!

No explanation, no nothing.

I report them to paypal and they told me they get a lot of complains to vodahost.

Stay away from vodahost.

" I just lost 120$ to them on Sunday. They did not turn on my account and they surreptiously charged me 20 dollars on my credit card for what they said was a free domain name.

I asked them since they hadnt turned on my account and overcharged for what was to be free I am not satisfied (Remember Big Bold Letters 100% guaranteed satisfaction). Figured it was only a few hours they would reverse the transaction.
They break out the terms of service with a lecture about morality.
Crazy to do business like that. Read that thread and the way they talk to people. The owner asked if one poster had been breastfed as a child?? That attitude was seen in some of my exchanges. I am just going to chalk it up to a loss. Dont make the same mistake as me.

😠 Well I signed up for a year of hosting with them, their page was too too flashy for me to refuse. They do offer alot more than most at a very cheap price 94.50 for a whole year of hosting. I had problems with my shopping cart and after tracking the problem down to vodahost after about 3 days of working for a fix. I issued a support ticket, no reply for 2 days now, nothing, then I went to their so-called support forum, and said "someone here please help me if you can...I explained the problem AGAIN, and added that their support tickets get answered way too slow and I get a cheesy answering machine when I try to call, which by the way I have not been able to do for the last month and a half, anyway I did not curse or say anything that was not true, inside the forum. I went back about an hour later to see if I had any replies to my problem, well guess what? They banned my ip address from the forum.
