📅 November 17, 2003 - SAVVIS Communications (savvis.com), aprovider of managed IP and Web hosting services, said today that ValuBond,a fixed-income trading platform, will deploy SAVVIS' Financial TransactionService (FTS) to its brokerages and investment firms.

According to SAVVIS, 56 of the top liquidity pools, buy-side and sell-sidefirms, and financial application providers currently use its FTS solution.FTS is designed to meet the unique requirements of trading applicationswhile providing high availability, performance and security.
"The financial services industry has very unique needs that an ITinfrastructure must carefully evaluate and meet - guaranteed uptime,reliability, security and authenticity," said Jack Finlayson, president andchief operating officer of SAVVIS. (equinix.com), a provider of Internet exchange and data center services, said today its underwritten public offering of 4.5 million shares of its common stock would be priced at $20. The offering is one million shares larger than originally announced. According to Equinix the transaction, which is expected to close November 21, will raise approximately $85 million in net proceeds.
