📅 - Equinix Inc. (equinix.com), aprovider of Internet exchange and data center services, said today itsunderwritten public offering of 4.5 million shares of its common stockwould be priced at $20.
The offering is one million shares larger than originally announced. According to Equinix the transaction, which is expected to close November21, will raise approximately $85 million in net proceeds. The company alsosaid that STT Communications Ltd., an existing stockholder, purchased1,535,948 shares in the offering. The offering was made through an underwriting syndicate led by CitigroupGlobal Markets Inc., the sole bookrunner. SG Cowen Securities Corporationserved as a co-lead manager and Needham & Company, Inc. and Adams Harkness& Hill, Inc. were co-managers of the offering. Equinix is headquartered in Foster City, California.
