Dec, 2005 : Wily Unveils Application Monitoring Tool

📅 December 8, 2005 - Enterprise application management provider Wily Technology (wilytech.com) announced on Monday it is now offering its new Introscope PowerPack for Web Servers, enabling IT staff to isolate Web server-related performance issues as part of an end-to-end transaction flow and alert application managers for rapid problem resolution.

The product also includes Web server auto-discovery and auto-configuration features that can improve the availability of Web server farms by automatically mapping server dependencies and sending alerts to appropriate IT staff if a server configuration is changed.

"With the Introscope Power Pack for Web Servers, Wily extends in-depth infrastructure visibility to the Web tier, enabling IT to better ensure the performance of revenue-generating applications," says Steve Tucker, vice president of product management at Wily Technology.

An extension of Introscope, Wily's flagship Web application management solution, the PowerPack for Web Servers monitors the load, availability and performance of Web servers including Apache HTTP Server, Microsoft IIS and IBM HTTP. The product locates all Web servers on a network and instantly begins monitoring them, displaying key performance metrics on pre-configured dashboards.
