Dec 7, 2005 : Web Host InterServer Upgrades Network
📅 - Web hosting provider InterServer (interserver.com) said on Tuesday that it had upgraded its network capacity with the addition of transit provider Tiscali (tiscali.co.uk).
The company, based in New Jersey, says it chose Tiscali because of its larger European-based backbone.
"Tiscali will improve speeds and reliability for our European customers," says John Quaglieri, chief technical officer of InterServer. "We are continuing to add capacity so our network can support the increasing needs of our customers."
The company says it will soon be peering at PAIX and NYIIX in New York City and plans to add more capacity in the near future.
Quaglieri says the company has also installed a customized solution for preventing denial of service attacks.
