📅 December 9, 2005 - Third party Web hosting software developer 4PSA (4psa.com) announced this week that it had released a new version of 4PSA Server Assistant, a monitoring solution for servers based on the Plesk control panel.

4PSA Server Assistant 2's new features include per process memory and CPU monitoring with automatic intervention, anti-tampering port and socket monitoring, incoming and outgoing bandwidth monitoring, Qmail queue monitoring and improved proactive service monitoring.

4PSA analyzes and monitors server resources and automatically terminates programs according to policy terms defined by the administrator. It tracks CPU and memory utilization, MySQL connections, incoming and outgoing bandwidth utilization, load and others server processes.

"4PSA Server Assistant tries to detect problems before they occur," says John Kehler, hosting product manager for 4PSA. "Helped by intelligent, proactive monitoring, hosting companies can provide efficient services and improved reliability to their customers."

4PSA Server Assistant 2 is compatible with Plesk 7.5 Reloaded and Plesk 7.1 Reloaded. The solution runs on all Linux and UNIX operating systems supported by Plesk.

Pricing starts from $69 for 30 domains.
