Mar 4, 2004 : Digital Dreams Launches Web Hosting
📅 - Digital Dreams Inc., a company founded in November of 2003, announced on Wednesday that it has entered the Web hosting business with the launch of DDI Hosting (ddihosting.net), promising low prices and enthusiastic service.
The company will offer reseller Web hosting alongside shared hosting, managed by the Plesk 7 and Plesk 6.5 administrative control panels. A top priority for DDI Hosting, says the company, has been the convenience of operation for customers. The company encourages customers to request software installations on Web servers, and allows clients to switch to another server on the network if they are not satisfied with performance. "The advantage of DDI Hosting for our customers could be our stable and fast hosting servers, but as I see it the support is just as, if not more, important," says chief technology officer Larry N. Stevens. "Our support is what helps [customers] to get their sites up, keep them up, and fix problems. Many of our customers come to us asking programming questions."
