Mar 5, 2004 : Verio Unveils Migration Promotions

📅 March 5, 2004 - Web hosting provider Verio (verio.com ) has unveiled two new cash incentive programs in support of its ViaVerio partner program, the company announced on Monday. The programs, according to Verio, target new and existing channel partners selling enterprise hosting and network services.

The first program is the viaVerio "Conquer and win with Verio" promotion, which offers former Cable & Wireless partners bonus payments for each customer they refer to the viaVerio partner program through May 31, 2004. Verio said the promotion, which pays a one-time bonus, is designed to attract partners that have lost commissions with C&W's recent exit from the US market.
The second cash incentive program is the "viaVerio enterprise hosting consolidator" promotion, which offers bonus payments to new and existing business partners who migrate enterprise hosting accounts to Verio. Running through June 30, 2004, the promotion pays up to $1,000 per customer migrated from any other hosting provider, up to $10,000 total.
"We've witnessed significant change in the industry over the past 18 months and during that time, Verio has remained a consistent and reliable business partner," says Sharon Smith, partner marketing and alliances director for Verio enterprise hosting and network services. "These promotions allow us to reward current partners and continue significant program growth by offering account migration incentives to new business partners."
Verio said its viaVerio small to medium hosting channel is also offering cash incentive promotions under similar programs.
