Apr 6, 2004 : Inflow Hosts Net Security Seminar

📅 - Data center operator Inflow (inflow.com) announced on Tuesday that Inflow St. Louis will join experts from Internet Security Systems (iis.net) and the Clayton Police Department to present a free seminar on how to address issues such as hackers, viruses, worms, mis-configurations and human error.

The seminar will cover strategies for companies that use third-party providers or provide their own security solutions. Topics will include what to do to re-secure your environment; who to call to recover stolen data; how to assist in tracking down and pursuing criminal action; and steps to take to make sure threats are eradicated.
Keynote speakers for the event include former FBI Agent Patrick Gray, who is now the director of the X-Force National Emergency Response Practice at Internet Security Systems; Detective Ken Nix, of the Clayton police; and David E. Black, a forensic technology advisor for Internet Security Systems.
"Hackers have become increasingly more sophisticated and have been able to exploit new forms of attack to gain access to organizations' critical business assets within their networking environments," said Patrick Gray. "Educating people on the most current security risks and vulnerabilities is a compelling and cost-efficient way for an organization to shore up its security posture."
The Internet Security Strategies seminar will be held on Thursday, April 8, from 11am to 1pm at the Missouri Athletic Club in St. Louis.
