📅 - Internet service provider ITC^DeltaCom (itcdeltacom.com) announced on Thursday that it had completed the sale of its e^deltacom hosting division to Quality Group of Companies. The sale, valued at $25.8 million, includes e^deltacom's data center facility in Suwanee, Georgia. ITC^deltacom says the proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes. "We are pleased to make today's announcement as the additional capital both strengthens our balance sheet and bolsters the initiatives under way in the business to drive innovation," says Randall E. Curran, CEO of ITC^DeltaCom. The new company will be named Quality Technology Services and will continue to focus on managed hosting, colocation, storage and networking. ITC^DeltaCom will continue to provide telecommunications services to e^deltacom and Quality.
