📅 - European data center and managed service provider TeleCity (telecity.com -> equinix.com) announced on Monday it has signed a five-year extension to their agreement with voice-over-broadband telephony service provider Inclarity (inclarity.com).
Inclarity has extended its relationship with TeleCity with the acquisition of additional managed data center services and suited space to host the IP Centrex infrastructure behind its broadband Voice over IP telephony service. Inclarity decided to expand its relationship with TeleCity because of the growing demand in Europe for its VoIP service.
VoIP services usually require a broadband Internet connection. As such high-speed Internet connectivity becomes ubiquitous in the marketplace, the demand for VoIP and IP Centrex services are expected to rise considerably.
"We initially chose TeleCity because of the high quality facilities and levels of round-the-clock engineering support available," says Mark Gilliland, chief technical officer of Inclarity. "Over the last eighteen months we have been able to grow our business in the knowledge that our infrastructure is in the best possible location with unrivalled levels of support. We look forward to developing our relationship over the years to come as demand for our services increase."
