📅 - European colocation and data center services company TeleCity plc (TeleCity.com) announced on Wednesday that it has signed an agreement with metro area interconnect provider XchangePoint, which will provide Gigabit Ethernet interconnect services from the TeleCity colocation facility.
XchangePoint, says TeleCity, offers Metro Area Interconnectivity, connecting the colocation facilities of London's Docklands. The company will use TeleCity's facility to provide a range of interconnect services, including public and private peering, one-to-one or one-to-many connections. TeleCity customers will also be able to join the XchangePoint Transit Marketplace. "We are very pleased to be offering our flexible Metropolitan interconnect services via one of the most established and successful multi-sited colocation operations in Europe," says Brett Wilde, COO XchangePoint. "TeleCity has a track record in understanding the communications service and solution needs of enterprises and service providers. We are confident that TeleCity will provide us with an effective, high quality and reliable service to enable us to focus resources on delivering our flexible interconnect services to their customers."
