📅 November 11, 2005 - Web hosting provider Verio (verio.com ) announced on Thursday that eReinsure had renewed its Web hosting contract with Verio and expanded its services with enhanced managed security, storage and infrastructure components.

EReinsire supplies insurance companies with Web-based applications for buying resinsurance and moving data between brokers and insurers.

"By using eReinsure's online negotiating platform, insurance companies, brokers and reinsurers can efficiently conduct business with each other," says Igor Best-Devereux, CEO of eReinsure. "The platform provides a completely secure environment for these companies to establish terms of agreement and review and manage information related to reinsurance placements."

Best-Devereux says it stayed with Verio because of the high availability of its systems and the presence of appropriate controls over data and security exemplified by its SAS 70-certified data center facilites.

"With the SAS 70 certification for our data centers, coupled with diverse and flexible security services and storage offerings, Verio is uniquely suited to provide business hosting and managed services to a company such as eReinsure, which serves the demanding insurance and reinsurance communities," says Doug McMaster, vice president of sales for Verio.
