May 19, 2006 : ISPCON Spring 2006 Wraps Up Thursday
📅 - Internet services industry conference ISPCON (ispcon.com) Spring 2006 concluded Thursday at the Baltimore Convention Center in downtown Baltimore, Maryland.
Day three of the conference sessions covered issues such as managing services and IT outsourcing, e-commerce, new opportunities and issues in PCI and merchant services, domains, certificates, blogs and SEM, peering problems, SME and SOHO services and strategies and secrets to marketing a hosting company.
Web hosting had a stronger presence at this year's conference, which ISPCON managing director John Price says is a reflection of the industry's changing market.
"What we focus on is what's making money for anyone in the Internet services industry," says Price. "We want to bring out the things that customers are demanding. Ninety percent of our time, if not a hundred, we talk to people coming to the show [about] what they're doing, what their objectives are, and where they're headed business-wise."
The fall edition of ISPCON will take place November 7 to 9 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California.
