📅 - IT outsourcing services firm RampRate (ramprate.com) announced on the weekend that it is offering free content delivery benchmark assessments at the Streaming Media East 2006 conference held May 23 and 24 at the New York Hilton Hotel.
The company will provide the free assessments to attendees of the conference spending more than $10,000 per year on content delivery network services, including streaming, downloads, Web content, live broadcasts and applications.
Ramprate says the free service is valued at more than $5,000. The company will benchmark a company's existing content delivery service needs, vendor quotes and contract terms against the market with its Service Provider Intelligence Index. The SPY index is a database of pricing, service level and vendor capability assessments developed from RampRate's transaction histories, partnerships, customer reviews and vendor partner profiles for more than 165 vendors.
