Jan 4, 2008 : Verio Launches New Control Panel

📅 January 4, 2008 - Managed hosting provider Verio (verio.com ) announced on Thursday it is offering a new, enhanced control panel for Verio services, enabling its customers to gain greater flexibility, customization and functionality. Verio says its email, website and hosting account management tool enables customers to more effectively manage an online account.

The revamped interface offers a simplified and faster control panel that enables customers to easily locate management functions and features. Customers can configure filters to allow or deny specific text in the subject line, as well as set rules for mails with specific words to automatically drop into specific folders. This alerts users to important mail based on keywords and folder sorting while reducing the risk of email security threats by handling any spam and virus-infected emails.

The control panel is organized into seven main sections including mail, users, utilities and files, statistics, preferences and settings, add-ons and databases. Verio customers can also customize the layout of their control panel by simple drag and drop of entire sections.

"Verio has been at the forefront of addressing areas of need identified by businesses operating online," says Dennis Boyle, Verio COO. "We have worked with our customers to deliver a solution that will enhance their experience, streamline the management process and make it easier for them to get the information they need."

In November, Verio announced it is offering Internet Protocol version 6 connectivity for customers and solution provider partners using Verio's virtual private server and managed private server Web hosting solutions.
