Filanet Partners with Trillion Digital to Deliver Wireless Broadband Services
📅 - Filanet Corporation (filanet.com), a leading provider ofintegrated platforms and services for small and remote office networking,announced that Trillion Digital Communications (trillion21.com), one of thenation's largest wireless broadband wide area network operators, willintegrate Filanet's InterJak 200 into their service offerings. TrillionDigital Communications will use the InterJak 200 to deliver wirelessbroadband network services to schools and small and remote businesses in theSoutheastern United States who are otherwise unable to achieve Internetconnectivity due to their location.
The InterJak 200 is a simple device that enables users to quickly set up amanaged, integrated wired and wireless LAN and WAN solution. The InterJak200 802.11b platform offers wireless access point functionality for localuser connectivity including advanced security features, such as encryption,firewall protection, and VPN connectivity. It also delivers wide areaconnectivity via external antennas that are deployed for site to siteconnectivity. Service providers, such as Trillion Digital, deploying theInterJak to their customers are able to securely deliver services such asVPNs, content filtering, and network monitoring, adding additional servicesas users require them.
