May, 2002 : Cyota Selects Verio for Payment Application Services

📅 May 31, 2002 - Payment security firm Cyota said today it had selected Web hosting firm Verio (Verio.com ) to provide hosted Secure Payment Application (SPA) services to European credit and debit card issuers.

The services, which Cyota said would be incorporated under one platform, titled SecureSuite, are available immediately.
Cyota offers card issuers a line of payment security products aimed at dealing with the challenges of online fraud and charge-backs. Cyota SecureSuite is the market's first platform to combine security initiatives mandated by Visa and MasterCard, as well as smart cards, tokens and biometric authentication and additional secure payment solutions like single use numbers.
"Verio, with the backing of NTT Communications, is a leading hosting service provider, and was therefore a natural choice for Cyota," said Naftali Bennett, Cyota CEO.
