Aug 8, 2002 : Comodo Introduces Automated SSL System
📅 - Internet security specialist, and developer of the popular InstantSSL product range, Comodo (comodo.net) announced on Wednesday that it has extended the facilities available to its InstantSSL Web host reseller partners.
The new Automated SSL Certificate Request System, says Comodo, allows Web host resellers to integrate the SSL certificate application and issuance processes into their own hosting facilities, providing a ?click and install? feature. Comodo says the automated system is already being used by a number of Web hosting companies to integrate the click and install SSL feature into their site management consoles, providing their customers with immediate access to SSL security. ?Click and install SSL will revolutionize how SSL is provided by hosting companies to their end customers,? states Paul Tourret, Managing Director of Comodo Ltd, ?It really is as simple as the customer clicking a button to request SSL. Then, almost instantly, we can issue and install the SSL Certificate on the host's Web server.?
