Aug, 2002 : NetNation Reports Second Quarter Financials

📅 August 9, 2002 - Web hosting provider NetNation Communications Inc. (NetNation.com -> hostway.com) announced on Thursday that it had released its results for its second quarter, ended June 30, 2002, marking the sixth consecutive profitable quarter for the company.

The company says its revenues for the quarter were $1.74 million, an increase of about eight percent over revenues of $1.61million in the same quarter last year. Revenues for the first half of 2002 were $3.42 million, an increase of approximately seven percent over revenues of $3.19 million in the first half of 2001.
Net earnings for the quarter were $151,707, or approximately 1 cent per share, compared to net earnings of $14,596 for the same period last year.
NetNation says its cash balance continued to grow, increasing to approximately $2.5 million, from about $2.1 million at the end of the previous quarter and about $1.67 million at the end of last year. The increase in cash was generated entirely through the operations of the company, and not through external financing.
