Nov, 2002 : Integra Telecom Launches Managed Services

📅 November 13, 2002 - Communication solutions provider Tyco Telecommunications (tycotelecom.com) announced on Tuesday that phone, data and Internet service provider Integra Telecom has launched a managed service product line hosted at its new data center in Tyco's TelExchangeO Center in Portland's Brewery Blocks.

Integra's facility, local network and network operations center deliver a range of resources for the outsourced management of customers? computing systems and communications networks.
Using Tyco's facility, Integra's carrier-class data center features a hardened infrastructure, providing an environment designed to serve Internet and corporate networking applications. A self-healing fiber-optic ring will ensure uptime and availability.
In addition to colocation space, Integra will offer fully managed Web and applications servers, data backup and restore services, network and server monitoring and managed data networks.
"Integra's Brewery Blocks Data Center offers an extensive service platform, greatly enhancing the array of products and services we offer our customers,? says Lyman Fisk, vice president of data services for Integra. ?It's truly a first-class facility and is one of only a handful of such data centers on the West Coast.
