📅 - Web infrastructure solution developer Zeus Technology (zeus.com) announced on Friday that it has partnered with value added distributor Wick Hill are partnering to sell Zeus's Web infrastructure solutions through the UK channel.
The companies say they plan to work together to take advantage of a growing need in the UK for professional, high-performance, secure Web systems to support business operations. Zues currently has over 800 blue chip customers, with its solutions supporting as many as one million sites in six continents. Zeus says its Zeus Web Server is aimed at large enterprises, high transaction Web sites, ISPs and Web hosting operations. "With more and more emphasis being placed on the security and reliability of Web-based systems," says John Paterson, CEO of Zeus, "and with organizations trying to contain costs, the Zeus family of products offers a real competitive advantage to users. Wick Hill's extensive UK reseller network will bring these benefits to a much wider range of organizations than we have been able to address in the past."

📅 - HP Expands Collaboration with Cisco - Computer systems developer HP (hp.com) announced on Wednesday that it has expanded its collaboration with Cisco Systems on the HP Utility Data Center (HP UDC) to provide enterprises and service providers with an HP UDC solution optimized for Cisco networking components. The companies have agreed to joint engineering development and interoperability testing to integrate Cisco components into the HP UDC architecture.
