Feb, 2003 : CompleteWeb.Net Deploys RouteScience Tools

📅 February 24, 2003 - Route control solutions provider RouteScience (routescience.com) announced last week that hosting, colocation and managed service provider CompleteWeb.Net (CompleteWeb.Net -> hostinger.com) has chosen RouteScience's PathControl solution to control the cost and enhance the performance of its Internet connectivity.

According to RouteScience, PathControl uses patent-pending technology to manage Internet connectivity, helping service providers and enterprises minimize bandwidth costs while improving network availability and performance. RouteScience says PathControl makes Internet performance reliable and predictable, enabling service providers and enterprises to use multiple low-cost providers without sacrificing performance.
"CompleteWeb provides Web hosting and other services to customers who demand the highest performing, lowest cost bandwidth to deliver their content," said Dayne Jordan, managing partner at CompleteWeb.Net. "RouteScience PathControl automates the control of our multiple OC-3 network connections, intelligently distributing traffic to the lowest cost link and actually increasing overall performance. PathControl has improved performance by 50% on average, and more importantly, we have already seen a 45% savings on our monthly bandwidth bills since deploying the product."

(cisco.com) announced on Monday that Austrialian telecommunications company Telestra has expanded its Internet backbone capacity, upgrading to 10 Gigabits per second using the Cisco 12000 Series Internet Routers.
