Jul, 2003 : Verio Announces Hosting Migration Program

📅 July 1, 2003 - Verio (verio.com ) announced today the immediate availability of the "Here Today, Here Tomorrow" Migration Program. Under the promotion, new customers will receive up to three months of free colocation and dedicated Web hosting services including hardware installation and immediate migration to a NTT/Verio premier data center.

Verio also announced it will provide up to $20,000 in site migration and related professional services free of charge.
The promotion is the latest in a growing line of special deals drawn up by hosts looking to attract customers transitioning their services from distressed providers.
"Given the recent fallout of some Web hosting service providers in the market, many businesses are fearful they will be stranded or sold off to another provider that may not have the capability set to handle their solutions, or for whom hosting may be an afterthought," said Isabel Ehringer, president of Verio's Enterprise Hosting Business Unit. "We make the transition of businesses' data centers or failed providers both simple and seamless and ensure that the customer benefits from the skill set, experience and products and services of Verio to complete their solution needs."
Verio, an NTT subsidiary, is a provider of global IP solutions to the enterprise market, including Web hosting, dedicated access, virtual private networks and managed services.
