Launched in 2013, Mailfence is an email service powered by OpenPGP based end-to-end encryption. They have hosted services for universities or organizations and they are proud to say that they have hosted over 600,000 accounts. Their website is available in multiple languages including French, Spanish, Italian, German, Dutch, Russian or Turkish.

ContactOffice Group operates Mailfence. They were founded in 1999 and they donate 15% to foundations like Electronic Frontier Foundation or European Digital Rights Foundation.

Specializing in mail services, plans range between 500 MB and 50 GB emails. Except for the free plan, you get email aliases (between 10 and 100). Other than the free plan, the rest of the e-mail plans support POPs, IMAPs, SMTPs, iOS, Exchange ActiveSync and Android.

All their e-mail services have encryption (two-factor authentication) integrated. All plans except for the free one include custom email domains as well as DKIM or SPF.
