📅 - IT infrastructure solution provider Lee Technologies (leetechnologies.com) recently announced it has appointed George Newstrom as its president and chief operating officer.

The company has grown as the needs and numbers of its customers have grown and I am very excited to work with all Lee Technologies personnel and our customers to be part of the exciting challenges that we face." In 2002 Newstrom was appointed to serve as Secretary of Technology for the Commonwealth of Virginia. In this role he advised the Governor on the growth of technology in the global economy and the effective use of information technology in state government. Prior to that, Newstrom held various leadership positions in the health care and government sectors with global information technology service provider EDS. Lee Technologies also recently announced it has introduced the Tiered Infrastructure Maintenance Standards, designed to give data center managers a set of tools for evaluating their maintenance programs, while enabling them to understand levels of risk and how to effectively allocate resources.
