*📜 Plan description

Launch production and development workloads on a KVM-powered Linux VPS that spins up in 60 seconds on enterprise-grade Xeon E5 hosts backed by pure SSD arrays. The entry configuration starts at just USD 11.03 and includes unmetered 1 Gbit bandwidth, instant OS reloads, IPv6 readiness, easy vertical scaling and a browser-based VNC rescue console—perfect for Docker labs, CI/CD pipelines and traffic-heavy LAMP or Node stacks.

All Hostway solutions inherit the same hardened backbone: redundant SSAE-18 datacenters in the US and Canada, Anycast DNS, nonstop monitoring, and 24x7 phone, chat and ticket assistance. Transparent monthly billing and a 30-day no-risk trial let you build boldly while our engineers keep every packet safe and fast.

📄 Editorial Review

Hostway is one of the older names in the commercial hosting market, with a history going back to 1998. The company started after the acquisition of Spectronet Inc. by Lucas Roh, John Lee, Arnold Choi and partners, then expanded from a Chicago-based hosting operation into a much larger international hosting group. During its strongest growth period, Hostway followed the classic full-service hosting model: domain registration, Linux and Windows shared hosting, email hosting, Hosted Exchange, managed dedicated servers, cloud hosting, colocation, ecommerce hosting, web design, reseller services, channel programs and private-label hosting.

That old business model is important because Hostway was not originally just a small-business website platform. It was a broader infrastructure provider with enterprise-style hosting services, acquired brands, international operations and managed server capacity. The 2007 Affinity Internet acquisition expanded Hostway around brands such as HostMySite, ValueWeb and Gate.com. Later, the 2019 merger with Hosting.com moved the larger managed-cloud side toward Ntirety. Today, the Hostway brand remains active, but its role is more focused on small-business web presence than on the old infrastructure-heavy hosting model.

Current Hostway services are built around helping small businesses get online, manage customers and sell online. The product portfolio includes Domains, Business Email, Hosted Microsoft Exchange, Linux Shared Hosting, Windows Shared Hosting, Website Builder, Web Design, eCommerce, ReadySMB, NearMeNow local marketing, ReadySalon, and email migration services. VPS hosting is still available, but it is routed through SolVPS, keeping virtual servers inside the wider Hostway/Ntirety ecosystem rather than as the central Hostway product.

For classic hosting customers, Linux and Windows shared hosting remain the most relevant traditional services. Linux hosting includes FlexCloud Site and FlexCloud Site Pro, with SSD storage, unmetered bandwidth, daily backups, MySQL databases and email mailboxes. Windows hosting follows the same general structure, with MSSQL databases and a Windows hosting environment for ASP.NET and Microsoft-based projects.

The website builder and web design products now receive more attention than the old dedicated-server and colocation model. The DIY Website Builder includes mobile-friendly editing, templates, SEO tools, online store functions and no-code management. Professional website design is available for businesses that want Hostway’s team to build the site, with Standard, Ecommerce and Custom project options. This clearly shows the shift from classic hosting infrastructure toward done-for-you web presence services.

Email is one of Hostway’s stronger remaining categories. Business Email includes domain-based email, calendars, address books, webmail access and 24/7 support. Hosted Microsoft Exchange is more advanced, with unlimited mailbox storage, shared calendars and contacts, public folders, resource mailboxes, AI-driven security options, archiving, encryption and compliance-oriented add-ons. Microsoft 365 is also part of the broader email and productivity ecosystem.

The website is available in English. The newer homepage and small-business product areas look modern and mobile-friendly, while some deeper hosting pages still feel like legacy Hostway pages kept alive beside the newer brand direction. This is not necessarily a weakness, but it makes the transition visible: Hostway is no longer the same broad infrastructure company it was during its dedicated hosting and colocation years.
