Jan, 2004 : ValueWeb Adds Bandwidth for Dedicated Servers

📅 January 27, 2004 - Web hosting provider Affinity Internet (affinity.com -> hostinger.com) announced on Tuesday that it has increased the bandwidth allotments for its ValueWeb (valueweb.com ) dedicated servers to one terabyte per server.

The company said the offering allows users to significantly increase their traffic without having to worry about penalties incurred from over-use of bandwidth.
Affinity said the new bandwidth allocation will be of particular interest to customers running bandwidth-heavy applications on their dedicated servers.
"Increasing customers' bandwidth while maintaining the lowest price point in the industry provides our customers with the resources needed to grow their businesses. Providing a full terabyte of transfer of bandwidth over tier one telecommunications networks, ensures the highest quality of service for our customers," said Peter Chambers, CEO of Affinity Internet. "This level of bandwidth is unparalleled in the low cost dedicated market and we will continue to ensure our customers receive feature-rich solutions."
Affinity said all existing ValueWeb dedicated hosting customers will receive the new bandwidth alottment without having to upgrade their service.
ValueWeb recently upgraded its hosting plans and re-designed its Web site.
Affinity operates the ValueWeb, SkyNetWeb, BigStep, HostSave and WinSave brands.
