Jul 23, 2004 : Taiwan Exchange Deploys Netscaler

📅 July 23, 2004 - Netscaler (http://www.netscaler.com) announced this week that the Taiwan Futures Exchange has deployed Netscaler 9000 series application delivery systems to enhance its information system network. Taifex's market observation post system, which handles the transmission of thousands of financial records, has deployed Netscaler 9400 application delivery switches.

"NetScaler is an application delivery infrastructure solution that is able to ensure the fullest amount of security for application content," says Chen Zhao Nan, product manager for CGS International, a premier systems integrator in China that helped Taifex evaluate and deploy the NetScaler 9000 Series systems. "NetScaler's powerful optimization features improve end user satisfaction while lowering total cost of operations."
Netscaler said that Taifex's priority, and the reason it chose to deploy Netscaler systems, was to ensure that the technology it deployed was capable of accelerating and fully securing application and transaction data, as well as optimizing overall application delivery.
"We are thrilled that Taifex is using NetScaler's application delivery systems to increase the capacity of its servers, proxy servers and firewalls by up to a combined 200 percent," says Sheen Khoury, senior vice president of worldwide sales at NetScaler. "Taifex's deployment of our systems is yet another validation that the most demanding network environments in the world are benefitting from the improved application performance and security that our systems deliver."
