📅 November 1, 2004 - According to a report published Monday by the Orlando Sentinel, telecommunications carrier AT&T (att.com) has sold its data center located at 9701 S. John Parkway in Orlando, Florida to Jeffrey Burges, president of Burges Property Co. of San Diego,

The 130,863 square foot facility was purchased for $10.5 million.
Burges said in the report that AT&T sold the facility as part of its restructuring efforts.
According to the report, Burges plans to market the facility as a "major information-processing complex" and is actively seeing to purchase other data center facilities.
