MaxMD offers .md domain names and Internet resources specifically catered to healthcare professionals. The company says it will provide a HIPAA compliant, secure and reliable messaging solution to physicians and healthcare professionals, along with domain registration and other Web-based resources. "The BlueTie platform allows us to offer our customers a HIPAA compliant solution, that seamlessly integrates into their existing infrastructure," says Scott Finlay, CEO of MaxMD The MaxMD messaging solution, backed by BlueTie's application, will provide compliance tools and email and include such features as antivirus, anti-spam, instant messaging, task management and calendaring functions.

📅 - New Windows Server Near Completion - According to reports, Microsoft's (microsoft.com) next Windows Server operating system, code named R2, is well on its way to being finalized, though Microsoft has yet to release a beta version.
