Dec 8, 2004 : Destra Acquires Veritel DSL Customers
📅 - Techex Communications (techex.com.au), a subsidiary of destra (destra.com -> hostinger.com), an Australian provider of Internet, e-commerce and Web hosting services, announced on Wednesday that it has acquired all of Veritel Australia's broadband DSL customers. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Destra says the acquisition will bring an additional $500,000 in revenue and add immediate profitability. The company says the addition of 350 business broadband customers will strengthen its customer base and provider up-sell opportunities for destra's other communications services, such as Web hosting. "Today, there are few companies that have the breadth of communications and online services we are taking to the market directly as well as through our family of resellers," says Domenic Carosa, CEO of destra Corporation. Destra acquired Techex, a provider of broadband, wireless, voice, managed services and virtual private networks, in October.
