Report: OzHosting.com Acquires GlobalHost Virtual Business

(globalhost.com.au), bringing 1,000 customers under its wing.
Both Ozhosting.com and GlobalHost Pty Ltd. are Web hosting companies based in Australia. The Australian GlobalHost is not associated with the American company of the same name (globalhost.com). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. "This is a great deal for us because of the operating efficiencies that Destra has in place today," Domenic Carosa, CEO of Destra, told ZDNet Australia. "GlobalHost's revenue should virtually translate into bottom line profit for Destra. Integration should be straightforward, and we expect this process to be completed in six to eight weeks." Earlier this month, Chicago-based Hostway (hostway.com👉 Total Reviews: 19 🙌 Average Rating: 2.5 / 10 👍 Good Reviews: 3 👎 Bad Reviews: 16 👈 Official Responses: 0) acquired the dedicated server business and other assets of GlobalHost. The Ozhosting.com transaction represents the sale of the remainder of GlobalHost's operations. Hostway entered the Australian hosting market in April. OzHosting has made several acquisitions in the last few years, and Carosa said more acquisitions were in the works.
