📅 - Australian Web hosting provider Destra (destra.com -> hostinger.com) reduced the price of its dedicated hosting package from $499 to $299 per month, according to a report published today in the Australian Reseller News.
Domenic Carosa, chief executive officer of Destra, told the Australian Reseller News that the company was able to offer reduced pricing for its dedicated hosting offerings as a result of a new relationship it has established with a "prominent computer manufacturer." According to the report, the company reduced pricing for its dedicated hosting services in order to attract small and medium-sized customers to the high-value offering. Carosa said that lower prices were the only way to "stem the tide" of Australian companies outsourcing their Web hosting to cheaper providers outside of Australia. Destra Corporation acquired Austrlian-based Enet21 Pty Ltd.'s (enet21.com.au) dedicated hosting business in early October.
