📅 December 9, 2004 - Zeus Technology (zeus.com), a provider of Internet infrastructure solutions, announced on Thursday that it has released Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager 3.0, a solution for managing, securing and optimizing applications and networks.

The Zeus traffic management solution is designed to provide centralized control for application traffic and ensure seamless interaction between Web-enabled services. The company says the solution is part of its commitment to making application and network management less complex.
"ZXTM combines three core areas of functionality to manage, secure and optimize complex application traffic," says Steve Palmer, vice president of marketing at Zeus Technology. "In a single solution, ZXTM takes the place of separate devices, returning centralized control that dramatically simplifies the network and application infrastructure and considerably reduces operational costs for the business."
Version 3.0 includes enhanced scripting technology and optional features for service level management and bandwidth control. Other enhanced features of the latest release include a new Web-based interface, and stateful session persistence that can be established based on any aspect of a request.
