Jan 27, 2005 : Web Host Bradstar Donates to Red Cross
📅 - Canadian Web hosting provider Bradstar Web Solutions (bradstar.ca) announced this week that it will donate a portion of its revenue from new hosting plans, domain registrations, and SSL certificate sales to the Tsunami relief fund.
"As members of the global community, it is our responsibility to respond to this disaster in any way we can," says Brad Hallett, owner of Bradstar Web Solutions. "The need in Asia will linger for many years to come. As the Tsunami falls out of the headlines, we must recognize the need in the region and donate accordingly." Bradstar will contribute a quarter of the revenue from the first month of each new hosting account, as well as any additional revenue from other products, to the Canadian Red Cross, one of the many organizations supporting the relief effort. Bradstar Web Solutions officially opened its doors to new customers this week after nearly a year of careful planning and development. The Tsunami relief promotion runs until the end of February, at which time a donation will be made.
