Mar 30, 2005 : Sententia to Resell Inkra Technology

📅 March 30, 2005 - Virtualization technology developer Inkra Networks (inkra.com) and IT services provider Sententia (sententia.com.au) announced on Wednesday that they had formed a partnership to target the Australasian market. According to the deal, Sententia will resell Inkra's entire product portfolio and provide support and maintenance services for customers, enabling it to enhance its capabilities in data center virtualization technology.
"The partnership with Inkra will enable us to take the leadership in delivering virtualization solutions in Australasia. We're looking forward to a long and valuable relationship with Inkra," says JP Burton-Clemence, CEO of Sententia. The two companies also announced that they have signed their first joint customer, to be named upon completion of the deployment. "The partnership with Sententia will enable us to meet this demand in Australasia and offer new customers expert on-the-ground consultancy and the highest levels of support," saysTony Morrish, vice president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Inkra Networks. "The combination of Inkra technology and Sententia know-how is a compelling proposition." Inrka's flagship product is the Virtual Service Switch, which virtualizes and delivers networking and security services such as firewalls, intrusion detection and load balancing to constituencies in the data center. The technology forms the basis of a utility computing environment and is designed to significantly cut costs and reduce the size of infrastructure deployments.

The properties are located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and St. Paul, Minnesota.
