📅 - Web hosting provider Intermedia.NET (intermedia.net) announced on Tuesday that it had launched a new email hosting service. Business E-Mail Hosting, the company says, is designed for small and medium-sized companies that want a personalized email address at a very low cost. "Our newest email offering gives smaller businesses the ability to have personalized email with their own domain name," says Alexander Yevelev, director of sales and marketing for Intermedia.NET. "In addition to gaining this functionality at a reasonable price, they also reap many of our advanced features, such as spam filtering and anti-virus protection." Business E-Mail hosting is available in three packages. A single account is available for $0.95 per month with up to three mailboxes, a mid-level account goes for $2.95 per month with up to 10 mailboxes, and a top-level plan is priced at $7.95 per month with up to 30 mailboxes. All mailbox users, regardless of plan, receive 1GB of storage space per mailbox, spam filtering and anti-virus protection. All price are based on single-year contracts.
