📅 - Monday at the Microsoft Technology Center - Silicon Valley grand opening in Mountain View, California, WorldVoice Corporation announced that it had selected Data Return, Microsoft's global hosting partner of the year, to provide managed hosting services for WorldVoice's wireless and wireline telecommunications applications. WorldVoice's applications bring voice communications to the Microsoft .NET platform, and drive revenue to the Microsoft Exchange ASP's through subscriber fees and charges for long-distance and conference calls. WorldVoice points out that the ASP business model traditionally focuses on data services. The company asserts that adding business-grade voice communications to the mix adds one more element, creating a complete communications command center. Data Return says it is pleased that it has been selected by WorldVoice as its managed hosting services provider. Data Return believes the new WorldVoice offerings present a powerful suite of capabilities for Application Service Providers and Exchange users.
