(wispernetworks.com), a subsidiary of Wisper Inc., unveiled a suite of Internet Protocol managed networking services, Wisper Managed Security, Traffic Management and Managed Virtual Private Networks, designed to provide the data infrastructure necessary to support the efforts of small to medium sized enterprises to operate as e-businesses. The managed services are intended to significantly reduce the cost to companies setting up firewall and virtual private network infrastructure. According to Wisper, the company's integrated IP networking offering is a single unified product that doesn?t exist elsewhere in the industry. Throughout 2001, Wisper has plans to extend its managed service offerings to include Virus, Spam, and Content Filtering Interceptors. According to Wisper, the company's latest service release, the network services suite, completes its latest phase of developing an end-to-end managed Internet services offering to the market.
