Feb 2, 2006 : EnCirca Extends Free .Pro Web Hosting

📅 February 2, 2006 - Web hosting provider and domain name reseller EnCirca (encirca.pro) announced on Wednesday it has launched four new .pro Web sites designed for professionals at Showcase.pro (showcase.pro).

EnCirca has also extended its holiday special, which provides free Web hosting with all .pro domain registrations. Customers who select the "QuickStart" package during the order process will receive a free year of Web hosting with their order.

"The .pro domain extension is perfect for the professional interested in creating a brand online," says Tom Barrett, president of EnCirca. "Every professional serious about marketing themselves online should have a .pro Internet address. There is no better way on the Internet of communicating to your customers that you are a true pro."

Professionals can choose from two branding options: a profession-specific address, such as seattle.law.pro or a generic .pro address, such as health.pro. EnCirca says both are appropriate for search engine marketing to specific markets, geographic areas or target customers and can be purchased for $99 per year.

EnCirca began providing free Web hosting with .pro domain registrations as a promotional offer in December of 2005.
