📅 February 2, 2006 - Web hosting and design firm Hosting Connecticut (hostingct.com) announced on Thursday it has developed a new affiliate program, which rewards Web site owners with commissions when they send customers to Hosting Connecticut.

Web site owners can register as affiliates for free, maintaining almost full control of their affiliate advertising campaigns. Affiliates, says the company, can access real-time online performance and commission reports.

"We see this as a vital need in our community," said the company in a press release. "Many businesses just don't have the time to learn how to make a successful transition to online sales. It's a whole different ball game from the offline business world."

The Windsor, Connecticut-based Hosting Connecticut provides Web services including domain registration, Web site design, hosting, e-commerce programming, credit card acceptance, marketing and statistic analysis.
