Launched previously in public beta format, Livedrive says it accumulated one million users during the phase.
The service enables users to access files from anywhere, on any device, storing their data in a carrier grade data centres and backup up.
As a result, users can work completely online using Livedrive's web portal, where they can open, view and edit most common files, including Microsoft Office documents.
According to the press relase, Livedrive is the "only company offering unlimited storage".
Livedrive offers software application that can be installed on any computer so that users can gain access to their Livedrive storage just like a normal drive.
Livedrive offers unlimited storage for $129.95 a year and also has a starter account which is limited to 100GB for $55.95 a year.
