Mar, 2009 : Peak 10 Announces Data Center in Tampa Bay
📅 - Company enhances its footprint and service delivery capabilities through strategic expansions due to high customer demand.
Peak 10, Inc., a data center operator and managed services provider, announced last week the opening of its second data center in Tampa, Fla. The company states that the completion of the 15,400 square-foot facility will bring Tampa's total data center footprint to more than 30,000 square feet.
It explains that like all its facilities, the new Tampa data center is engineered with multiple levels of security, uninterruptible power, HVAC systems, fire suppression and around-the-clock monitoring and management. It is SAS70 Type II compliant and interconnected with its private network, which provides customers the advantage of highly available internet access and the ability to leverage data centers in eight other markets in implementing disaster recovery solutions.
''Our facility expansion is a direct result of our steady growth and success in the Tampa Bay area. It will help us meet the current and future demand for our customized services,'' said Debra Curtiss, Vice President and General Manager of Peak 10 Tampa. ''As we continue to invest in our infrastructure, our valued customers can enjoy the most current state-of-the-art facilities while receiving the expertise and attention they have come to expect from our dedicated team.''
''Peak 10 continues to enhance its footprint and service delivery capabilities in existing markets, such as Tampa, through strategic expansions due to high customer demand,'' said Jeff Spalding, Executive Vice President of market operations for Peak 10. ''As a result, we continue to expand our scale without diminishing our core value proposition
