Feb 17, 2009 : iB3 to Operate Tier4 Ohio Data Center
📅 - Web hosting and IT services provider iB3 Networks (ib3networks.com) and its wholly owned subsidiary iBeam Solutions (ibeamsolutions.com) announced today they have signed an exclusive agreement to operate a 10,000 square foot, Tier 4 data center in downtown Columbus, Ohio.
According to iB3 Networks' announcement Tuesday, the new high availability, N+1 redundant data center will be operated by iB3 Networks and iBeam Solutions, which is both a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and a Cisco Certified Select Partner. As part of the agreement, iB3 Networks will acquire all current customers, representing over $30,000 per month in recurring revenues.
The new data center gives the company the platform necessary to host and provide Internet businesses to provide customers the speed and reliability necessary to manage large volume of transactions. The facility will also back its own newly acquired dating website, Madison Avenue Match (madisonavenuematch.com).
"This is a focal point for our company, as projected revenues from this facility are expected to exceed $100,000 per month by end of 2009," iB3 Networks chief executive officer and acting iBeam Solutions president Eric Schmidt said in a statement. "We also have a responsibility to our customers to provide them the best facility available for their on-line presence, as well as the ability to meet our larger company disaster recovery needs."
Schmidt said iB3 Networks shareholders should expect a large increase in revenue and the ability to grow additional lines of business while penetrating new markets.
iB3 Networks promises a 100 percent uptime service level agreement and around-the-clock telephone support, as well as a virtual help desk, managed services, design and implementation of networks, security and Internet monitoring, technical support, web development, application development, database development and support, and wireless solutions.
