Oct 28, 2008 : Verio Revamps ViaVerio Program

📅 October 28, 2008 - Managed hosting provider Verio (verio.com ) announced on Tuesday it has launched its newly revamped viaVerio channel partner program and partner website, ViaVerio (viaverio.com -> hostinger.com).

Verio previously redesigned its viaVerio partner website in May 2007, with an improved site structure, navigation and flow to better addressing the needs of the company's reseller partners and those companies exploring the Verio reseller program.

The viaVerio channel partner program provides resellers with exclusive access to a range of online business services targeting the SMB market, including shared, virtual or managed Web hosting, online business services and applications and e-commerce solutions.

Designed to further reinforce the full-service resources and support available to channel partners, the viaVerio program offers an enhanced community-building Web portal, revamped commission structure, more program benefits, updated sales resources and advanced educational courses.

These benefits will collectively assist partners in expanding their business opportunities, generating new sales leads and driving their overall revenue stream.

The new program features a new partner portal, ViaVerio.com, which will deliver resources and sales tools, as well as serve as a forum for partners to network with one another regarding Verio's solutions.

The portal includes several of resources for partner, starting with the partner-to-partner directory, which provides an online address book that enables partners to identify fellow viaVerio peers and develop strategic relationships.

The partner engagement forum offers a discussion portal that facilitates partner-to-partner communication and promotes one-on-one conversations between Verio subject matter experts regarding timely topics. The new partner blog enables ViaVerio members to lead on-going discussions on pertinent topics to the viaVerio community.

Finally, the partner innovation channel provides a community powered micro-site for members to gather and share feedback on Verio products and programs that provides partners with the ability to vote on suggestions from other partners regarding product development and possible enhancements.

As in the past, the ViaVerio program will continue to focus on providing extensive account management support as well as training and technical assistance. The company will also be launching a webinar-based Partner Education Series to provide corporate level education on topics related to hosting, and hands-on advice on increasing revenue growth.

Last month, New Zealand telecommunications provider Telecom partnered with Verio to provide Web hosting for Telecom's suite of services, including domain registering and design.
