📅 - IT security solution provider Juniper Networks (juniper.net) announced on Monday that managed hosting provider Global Netoptex (gni.com) has deployed Juniper Networks' NetScreen-5400 firewall virtualization security systems.
GNi says it selected Juniper's solution for its industry-leading scale and its high performance and availability. The new security systems will also help ensure that GNi's network infrastructure, hosted applications and managed business services remain secure from attacks, says the company, while enabling it to accelerate the deployment of its services and applications over a single network.
The Juniper Networks NetScreen-5400 is a firewall/VPN security system designed to deliver high-performance capabilities for large enterprise, carrier, and data center networks. The solution will be deployed at GNi's largest data centers in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Oakland, Frankfurt, Tokyo and Singapore, which host content and applications for many leading Web portals, online gaming companies and large enterprises, says GNi.
