Jan 15, 2008 : Ensim Releases Unify Upgrade

📅 January 15, 2008 - Unified communications software provider Ensim (ensim.com) announced on Tuesday that it has released Unify Enterprise Edition, version 1.5.

With this upgrade, Ensim Unify brings new functionality to enterprises looking to optimize their IT infrastructure, increase the security and control of Exchange deployments and enable a mobile workforce, says the company.

Some of the key features with this upgrade include a quick start wizard for administrators, enhanced user management, improved OU management, simplified role customizations and more configuration options. The upgrade is available immediately from the company's website.

"Enterprises that align their IT strategies with their business needs are better positioned for competitive growth and differentiation," says Francois Depayras, VP of marketing and alliances at Ensim. "The latest version of our Unify Enterprise Edition provides enterprises with a powerful solution that allows them to quickly deploy and run an extensible platform that addresses all of their provisioning, automation and IT infrastructure needs at a more predictable cost than they could deliver themselves."

Last week, Ensim began offering early support for Microsoft's Dynamics CRM 4.0 via its Unify Shared Edition control panel.
